Principal Scientist Research (mass spectrometry) (f/m/d)

For a globally leading biopharmaceutical company, we are currently looking for a Principal Scientist (f/m/d) with focus in structural analysis (met-ID) and mass spectrometry. In this role, you are responsible for all met-ID studies and analyses and support the drug discovery unit. 

IHRE AUFGABEN

• You lead a laboratory focussing on met-ID studies and drug metabolism of research substances
• You plan and interpret in vitro and in vivo met-ID studies
• You coordinate and lead DMPK profiling activities for discovery projects and keep up to date with state-of-the-art technologies
• You have a strong impact on the scientific and technological development of your group, your team, and co-workers and ensure a high level of education of them
• You interact with other departments and act as your groups representative 

IHR PROFIL

• PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or comparable field
• Excellent know-how of state of the art structure elucidation (via MS, quantitative HPLC-MS/MS analysis) 
• Ideally experience in DMPK for research projects
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English
