Senior Clinical Research Scientist or Physician (w/m/d)

For a globally leading biopharmaceutical company in the South of Germany, we are currently looking for a Senior Clinical Research (Operations) Scientist or Physician (all genders) with experience in the management and execution of complex global clinical trials. 

IHRE AUFGABEN

• As the lead for global and/or local study teams, you are responsible for overseeing, executing, and finalising clinical trials on a local and global level
• You ensure the feasibility of the trials and are responsible for risk mitigation
• You lead several global clinical research teams
• You oversee the investigational plans, patients recruitment, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• You plan, execute, and finalise clinical trials, select the according investigational sites, and make sure that GCP standards are met
• You take care that SOPs are maintained
• You interact with relevant authorities and make sure that the companies objectives are met
• You lead and support local crossfunctional teams
• You make sure that the clinical monitoring is compliant with all relevant norms and regulations
• You interface with other relevant divisions and stakeholders and represent your team both internally and externally (clinical supply, regulatory, medical, quality, CROs, patient organisations, ...)

IHR PROFIL

• Degree in natural sciences or MD, ideally with PhD
• Profound knowledge and many years of experience in the management of clinical trials on a global level
• Strong scientific background and understanding with regards to clinical trials
• Experience with the selection and management of investigational sites
• Strong experience in the management and steering of clinical trials, submissions (authorities, ethics committee), oversight of patient recruitment etc. 
• Strong sense of responsiblity with regards to patient safety, project management, budget planning, quality asusrance, ...
• Experience in different indiciational areas is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Leadership experience on a global level
• Fluent German and English skills
