An established organization is expanding its team in a strategic category overseeing significant brand investments in Real World Evidence (RWE) & Digital Health.

This is a globally managed category, involving collaboration with high-level stakeholders to align strategies and goals with the appropriate category strategy, vendors, and framework. The sourcing team operates collaboratively across functions and cultures to ensure success in interactions with various stakeholders.

As a (Senior) Category Manager in Global Sourcing Indirect, you will play a pivotal role in a versatile mission. If you are eager to contribute, this is an opportunity to consider.

IHRE AUFGABEN

  • Taking charge of devising and implementing sourcing strategies across various global areas.
  • Emphasizing timely market entry, trends in digital technology, environmentally friendly sourcing, competitive practices, and productivity improvements.
  • Actively searching for new partners, service providers, and solutions to encourage innovation and value generation.
  • Guiding diverse teams to introduce inventive procedures and negotiate external cost reductions effectively.
  • Concentrating on real-world evidence (RWE) and digital health initiatives, including digital health, data intelligence/RWE, and diagnostics.
  • Building and nurturing connections with current and potential suppliers.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and regional purchasers to recognize and mitigate sourcing risks.
  • Aligning stakeholders' needs and expectations with selected service providers.

IHR PROFIL

  • Master’s degree or Diploma in business administration and/or pharmacy and/or chemistry.
  • Several years of sourcing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in contracting and supplier relationship management, ideally knowledge in Real World Evidence and Digital Health related categories.
  • Specific market intelligence and sourcing experience in GxP-relevant categories are required.
  • Knowledge of demand management, market and supplier analysis, due diligence, risk management, and key performance indicators such as total operating costs, savings, net present value.
  • Open-minded, motivated, persuasive, and perseverant personality with outstanding internal and external relationship management skills and willingness to take on responsibility.
  • Able to relocate to Western Europe.
