For one of the most renowned (bio)pharmaceutical companies in Germany, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary individual to lead the marketing for priority assets in a specific therapeutic area. (inflammatory disease)
In this key role, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and its tactical and organizational implementation throughout the entire asset lifecycle (from proof of clinical principle (PoCP) to post-launch). You will play an active role in shaping the global marketing strategy and contribute to the development of the global Integrated Asset Plan.

This position offers you the opportunity to ensure commercial excellence through the implementation of innovative marketing approaches based on insights and data analysis. You will be responsible for the commercial strategy and its implementation, fostering agile project management, innovation, and disruptive thinking.


  • Asset Strategy Development and Implementation: As the Marketing Lead, your expertise is crucial in developing and implementing the asset strategy with a focus on customer and patient centricity to create maximum value.
  • Market and Commercial Insight: Utilize your in-depth market and commercial understanding to develop an Integrated Customer Plan. Drive commercial excellence throughout all phases of asset development from PoCP to post-launch.
  • Execution Excellence: Define the execution excellence approach, including go-to-market and omnichannel concepts. Implement insights-based improvements and oversee the planning of field activities.
  • Budget Management: Ensure adherence to budget goals and optimal resource utilization for the asset's marketing budget.
  • Operational Metrics and Optimization: Define clear marketing priorities and derive operational metrics and optimization opportunities for cross-functional teams.
  • Global and Local Strategy Integration: Act as the local counterpart and key contact for the Global Value Lead of the asset. Develop and ensure alignment of the global marketing strategy and integrated asset plan (IAP) with local priorities and requirements.
  • Innovation and Coaching: Build new communication approaches and forward-looking data strategies as an innovator and coach. Promote a growth mindset and serve as a role model for disruptive thinking and empowerment. Drive innovation to achieve ambitious goals in a rapidly changing environment.


  • University degree in business, natural sciences, or psychology.
  • Extensive experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector, with a particular focus on product launches.
  • Strong strategic and tactical thinking, creativity, and innovation capability, coupled with the ability to identify opportunities, shape new markets, and make decisions.
  • Experience and competence in leading diverse, cross-functional teams and direct communication with senior management.
  • Deep understanding of procedures and policies, market research processes and tools, as well as forecasting techniques.
  • Proven ability to proactively drive innovation and implement agile working methods.
  • Fluency in English; German is a big advantage.
