We are currently supporting a fast-growing European pharmaceutical company in their strategic expansion into the German market.The company focuses on established, high-value branded medicines that continue to play an essential role in patient care. Through a highly agile business model and a strong international network of partners, it ensures continuous access to therapeutic solutions across a range of medical areas – including oncology, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology and psychiatry.
To accelerate its existing footprint in the local market, we are seeking a Country Lead (gn) who will be responsible for building and managing the local business operations in Germany.
IHRE AUFGABEN
- Define and implement the company’s market entry and growth strategy in Germany
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as healthcare institutions, authorities, service providers and partners
- Represent the company externally (e.g. at conferences, industry forums, regulatory meetings)
- Lead and develop the local team, including employees and external collaborators
- Take ownership of the full P&L for the German entity, including cost control and financial performance
- Ensure full compliance with national laws, healthcare regulations and internal quality standards
- Collaborate closely with international HQ functions in areas such as Regulatory, Market Access, Medical and Supply Chain
IHR PROFIL
- Proven track record in a senior leadership role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong experience in launching or scaling commercial operations in Germany
- Deep understanding of the German healthcare system and pharmaceutical market dynamics
- Ability to lead, motivate and build teams in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Business fluency in German and English
