PM Logistics Transformation / 3PL Transition

INTRO

For an international consumer health company, we are looking for an experienced freelance Project Manager Logistics Transformation / 3PL Transition to support a major logistics transformation project.

The project relates to the transition from the current warehouse setup to a new 3PL warehouse partner. A new logistics setup needs to be prepared, implemented and operationally ready for the planned go-live in the mid of 2027.

The freelance project scope includes project management support for the 3PL transition, warehouse migration, inventory transfer, logistics process implementation, documentation, ERP/WMS-related coordination, testing, go-live preparation and hypercare. The assignment will involve coordination with internal stakeholders, group functions and external logistics partners.

TASKS

- Project management support for the implementation of the new 3PL setup
- Coordination of warehouse migration, inventory transfer and logistics process implementation
- Tracking of project timelines, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Coordination of ERP/WMS-related project activities and operational readiness topics
- Preparation of status updates, governance materials, KPI/SLA tracking and decision documents
- Coordination of testing, go-live preparation and hypercare activities
- Interface management between internal functions, group project stakeholders and external logistics partners
- Support with documentation, process handover and change-related project activities

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution management
- Proven project experience in 3PL transitions, warehouse migrations or logistics transformation projects
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Good understanding of ERP and WMS environments
- Very good Excel skills
- Fluent English; German is preferred but not a must
- Experience in pharma, OTC, consumer health or another regulated environment is an advantage, but not mandatory
