For one of the most innovative, leading biotechnology companies in the south of Germany, we're searching for a Purchasing Manager Clinical Services (all genders).IHRE AUFGABEN
- Develop a strategic vision and plan for the (sub-)categories in your scope (including but not limited to clinical trials, testing, preclinical services, laboratory, IMP logistics, etc.) in collaboration with a cross-functional team
- Implement all aspects of these strategies (including planning, RFI/RFP, bid defense meetings, negotiation, contracting)
- Coordinate contract development (SOW), execution and change orders negotiation; approve POs in SAP
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to ensure delivery of best value for the company
- Continuous improvement: Bring and implement new ideas in order to improve processes and tools, and support internal stakeholders in the most efficient way
- You will have one direct report
IHR PROFIL
- Completed studies in Business Administration or Economics or a comparable qualification
- Profound experience in Sourcing/Procurement in R&D
- Deep understanding of working in a GCP/GLP environment
- Procurement and negotiation techniques: supplier sourcing process and eTools (S/4HANA, Ariba, etc.), negotiation, supplier management
- Practical knowledge in Clinical Procurement/Category Management
- Solid background in other R&D area is a plus
- Project management skills: prioritization, coordination, Risk Management
- Change Management and communication skills
- Strong influencing and (senior) stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on mentality/procurement spirit/team player/collaborative
- Takes ownership and can autonomously drive initiatives
- Fast learner
- Fluency in English is a must; German is a plus
