Director Alliance Management (w/m/d)

In this position you will be a key person responsible for proactive and effective management of major operational partnerships.

Collaborations are a key component of the corporate strategy, and the position has significant exposure across the organization.

IHRE AUFGABEN

 
  • collaboration with new and existing partners to ensure achievement of specific goals within the alliance
  • effective management of multiple projects/priorities with attention to detail
  • demonstrated ability to work with multiple customers and partners both internally and externally
  • establish and execute overall alliance governance, processes and protocols through collaborative dialogue within the company and the partners
  • take operational responsibility for joint governance committee operations, for contractual compliance and for financial processes and controls
  • partner closely with the Program Management to ensure the company is prepared to meet the strategic operations of the alliance
  • cultivate an effective working relationship and communication between the partners
  • oversee the quality of the working relationship including annual “state of the alliance” surveys and periodic reviews
  • assist in business development activities, support the existing key relationships and look for future partnering opportunities
  • provide regular status updates for the Senior Management and provide key information for strategic management decisions

IHR PROFIL

  • degree in natural sciences with knowledge of Molecular biology, Immunology and strong science background in oncology, vaccines, antibodies, or gene therapy
  • minimum 7-10 years of experience in research/development, project management, alliance management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • broad experience of leading multi-disciplinary development teams in various stages of drug development (discovery, pre-clinical, clinical, approval, launch)
  • broad exposure to drug research, development, and commercialization activities preferably in the field proteins and mRNA or biologics
  • experience leading organizational change and design/implementation of governance bodies
  • ability to facilitate resolution of complex business cases including fundamentals of financial valuation and structured decision making
  • excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills
  • highly effective at leading by influence in a matrixed environment
  • ability to effectively prioritize work across diverse and dynamic set of deliverables
  • excellent organizational skills, with an ability to embrace change and multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • deep understanding of biopharma product development and manufacturing processes including discovery, regulatory, clinical trial, process development and production
  • very good presentation skills, be able to communicate and present to all audience types
