An established organization is expanding its team in a strategic category overseeing significant brand investments, specifically within the Media domain.

Media within the organization is a globally managed category, involving collaboration with high-level stakeholders to align strategies and goals with the appropriate category strategy, vendors, and framework. The sourcing team operates collaboratively across functions and cultures to ensure success in interactions with various stakeholders.

As a Category Manager in Global Sourcing Indirect, you will play a pivotal role in a versatile mission. If you are eager to contribute, this is an opportunity to consider.


  • Utilize strategic acumen, persuasive skills, and assertiveness to craft and execute the Media category strategy. Redefine norms in market speed, long-term strategic sourcing decisions, and competitive sourcing & agency roster.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on markets for innovation, scouting new solutions and service providers for the category, evaluating risks, and pioneering new channels or solutions.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative processes to enhance Media management, performance tracking, and budgeting.
  • Seek new suppliers, evaluate current and potential ones, and foster relationships with business partners.
  • Serve as the point of contact for assigned business partners for Sourcing, providing support on cross-category issues and sharing relevant information.


  • Advanced degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience in international category management in Media Sourcing, with a preference for both Direct to Consumer and Professional-Media Agency experience.
  • Experience in risk management and compliance, with knowledge in performance metrics and budgeting; Additional knowledge is a plus.
  • Analytical with effective communication and presentation skills; experienced in engaging and managing business partners.
  • Open-minded, motivated, and perseverant personality, capable of taking on relevant responsibilities.
  • Relocation to Central Europe highly preferred, proficiency in English.
